So, let me be clear and tell you that I KNOW I’m not an artist. I get it. I’m a writer. I deal with words. But I’ve loved art since, like, forever, and these comics are an easy way for me to be creative without the pressure that I feel when I’m writing.
Plus, I mean, my family IS pretty hilarious. So, why not?
I’m pretty erratic when it comes to when I draw the comics. I’m bad when it comes to set schedules, if we’re being totally honest. But they’re almost always rooted in some sort of real-life incident or imagining (meaning something I made up…IN MY MIND!)
Ugh. Sometimes crazy thoughts catch me at vulnerable times and stick to me for a few days. I’m learning that reaching out can really help.
